Biography

As a young child Terry loved to paint and draw.  She won awards in school contests and taught high school art immediately upon graduating from high school.

Understanding the financial risks associated with being an artist, Terry decided to follow a more lucrative career path that involved drawing.  This led her into Engineering.  Terry received a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering which provided her with a very extensive understanding of perspective.  She soon received a Masters in Engineering.

After 15 years in the Engineering field, Terry realized that her heart was in art, not engineering.  She retired from the Engineering field to teach children art and to start painting once again.

Terry is considered an inspirational painter, painting subjects of religion and serenity.  She is also known for her portrait paintings and realistic style.

Terry is a member of several art associations and a board member of the Orange Art Association.
